TERMS & CONDITIONS — PLATRR

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) form a legally binding agreement between you and YBKM TECH VENTURES LLP, operating the Platrr platform (“Platrr”, “we”, “us”, or “our”).

These Terms govern your access to and use of the Platrr mobile application and related services (collectively, the “Services”). By creating a Platrr account, accessing the Services, booking or hosting an event, purchasing a membership, posting content or otherwise using Platrr, you agree to these Terms and acknowledge our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with these Terms, you must not use the Services.

1. OPERATOR INFORMATION

Platrr is operated by YBKM TECH VENTURES LLP, GSTIN 24AAEFY0674Q1ZL.

2. ELIGIBILITY

You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a binding agreement to create an account or use Platrr. By accessing the Services, you represent that you satisfy this requirement and that your use of Platrr is permitted under applicable law.

3. YOUR ACCOUNT

Platrr currently uses phone-number and OTP authentication. You agree to:

4. WHAT PLATRR PROVIDES

Platrr is a social café-discovery, food-discovery, community and loyalty platform. Depending on available features, Platrr may allow you to:

5. CAFÉS, VENUES AND THIRD-PARTY INFORMATION

Platrr does not own or operate cafés and venues shown through the Services unless expressly stated otherwise. Venue information may come from venues, users, Google Places or other third-party sources.

Information concerning opening hours, location, menu, pricing, availability, ingredients, allergens or other venue characteristics may change or be inaccurate. Users should verify important information directly with the relevant venue.

6. FOOD, ALLERGEN AND HEALTH INFORMATION

Platrr does not provide medical, dietary, nutritional or allergen advice. Users with food allergies, intolerances, medical dietary restrictions, religious dietary requirements or other safety concerns should independently confirm relevant information with the café, restaurant, venue or host.

User reviews and dietary tags should not be treated as professional medical or safety advice.

7. YOUR CONTENT

“Your Content” means material you create or provide through Platrr, including reviews, ratings, photos, posts, comments, messages, polls, lists and profile information.

You retain ownership of Your Content. By providing Your Content through Platrr, you grant YBKM TECH VENTURES LLP a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, format, display, transmit and distribute Your Content where reasonably necessary to operate, moderate and promote Platrr. This licence does not transfer ownership of Your Content.

8. YOUR RESPONSIBILITY FOR CONTENT

You represent that you have the necessary rights to provide Your Content and that Your Content does not violate applicable law, another person’s rights or these Terms. You remain responsible for content you make public.

9. PROHIBITED CONTENT AND ACCEPTABLE USE

You must not use Platrr to publish, transmit or share content that is unlawful, fraudulent, obscene, sexually exploitative, harmful to children, unlawfully discriminatory, defamatory, infringing, privacy-invasive, threatening, malicious or otherwise prohibited by applicable law.

10. ARTIFICIAL OR MANIPULATED CONTENT

You must not use synthetic, altered or artificially generated media to impersonate another person, commit fraud, harass someone, violate privacy, create non-consensual intimate content or otherwise violate applicable law. Platrr may remove or restrict such content where reasonably necessary.

11. REVIEWS, RATINGS AND CHECK-INS

Reviews, ratings and check-ins must reflect genuine experiences. You must not:

Platrr may remove content, invalidate check-ins, reverse points, revoke badges, adjust credibility or restrict accounts where manipulation is reasonably suspected.

12. SOCIAL FEATURES AND USER INTERACTIONS

Platrr may allow interactions including following, messaging, Taste Rooms, event participation, table hosting, comments and polls. Users should exercise appropriate judgment when interacting with others. Platrr does not comprehensively background-check every user and cannot guarantee another user’s conduct or intentions.

13. BLOCKING, REPORTING AND MODERATION

Platrr may provide tools to block users and report accounts, content, harassment, spam or impersonation. Depending on the circumstances, Platrr may:

14. BOOKINGS

Some tables, events or experiences may require payment. Before payment, Platrr will display applicable booking price, taxes, platform/service fees, total payable amount and cancellation terms. Prices are generally displayed in Indian Rupees (INR). A booking is confirmed only after successful payment and system confirmation.

15. PAYMENTS

Payments may be processed by Razorpay or another payment processor disclosed at checkout. Platrr does not store your complete card, UPI or banking credentials. You authorize Platrr and its payment provider to process charges for transactions you initiate.

16. PLATFORM OR SERVICE FEES

Where Platrr charges a platform, convenience, service or similar fee, the applicable amount or calculation method will be disclosed before purchase or before a host confirms a paid listing. The amount shown in the applicable transaction flow will govern that transaction. Applicable taxes may be charged as required by law.

17. CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS

Specific cancellation terms will be displayed for the relevant booking. If a user cancels within an eligible cancellation period, refundable amounts will be processed according to the displayed policy. Late cancellation or non-attendance may result in some or all amounts being non-refundable.

If a host cancels a paid table or event, affected users will ordinarily receive a full refund of the relevant ticket amount. Platform or service fees may be non-refundable for voluntary user cancellations where clearly disclosed before purchase.

Approved refunds are generally initiated to the original payment method and may commonly take approximately 5–7 business days after processing, depending on the relevant payment provider or bank. Nothing in these Terms limits mandatory consumer rights.

18. PLATRR PLUS

Platrr may offer a paid membership called Platrr Plus, sold as an auto-renewable subscription in a monthly plan (one month, renewing every month) and a yearly plan (twelve months, renewing every year). Benefits, price, membership period and applicable taxes are displayed in the app before you confirm any purchase, and the price shown at that moment is the price that applies. Prices differ by platform because of the app-store commission applicable to in-app purchases. As of the Last Updated date above, the price of Platrr Plus purchased inside the iOS app is ₹189 per month or ₹1,249 per year, and the price elsewhere is ₹149 per month or ₹999 per year, in each case including applicable taxes.

Automatic renewal

Where recurring billing is enabled, you authorize applicable renewal payments subject to payment-provider and regulatory requirements.

Purchases made through the Apple App Store

Where you purchase Platrr Plus inside the iOS app, the purchase is processed by Apple and billed to your Apple Account. Payment is charged to your Apple Account on confirmation of purchase. The membership renews automatically unless automatic renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and your Apple Account is charged for the renewal within the 24 hours before the current period ends. You can manage the membership, view the renewal date and turn off automatic renewal at any time after purchase in your Apple Account settings (Settings › your name › Subscriptions). Deleting the app does not cancel the membership. Refunds for App Store purchases are handled by Apple in accordance with Apple's policies, and Platrr cannot issue or reverse an App Store charge on Apple's behalf.

Cancellation

You may cancel future renewal using the method made available by Platrr or the payment provider, or, for a purchase made inside the iOS app, in your Apple Account settings as described above. Cancellation prevents the next eligible renewal. Unless otherwise required by law, your Platrr Plus benefits remain active until the end of the period you have already paid for.

Refunds

Fees for an already commenced Platrr Plus membership period are ordinarily non-refundable, including where some benefits remain unused. This does not affect refunds required by applicable law.

Pricing changes

Material renewal-price changes will be communicated and any renewed authorization legally required will be obtained.

19. HOSTING TABLES OR EVENTS

If you host a table, gathering or event through Platrr, you agree to provide accurate listing information and comply with applicable venue, safety, licensing, registration and tax requirements. Unless Platrr expressly states otherwise, the host remains responsible for conducting the hosted activity.

20. HOST PAYOUTS

Where a host is eligible for payout, the host must connect a valid payout account. The payout may be calculated after deduction of:

Payouts are generally expected to be initiated after approximately 48 hours following completion of the relevant table or event, subject to payment-provider settlement timelines. Platrr may reasonably delay or reverse payouts in cases involving fraud, cancellations, chargebacks, refunds, payment failures, legal requirements or breach of these Terms.

21. LOYALTY POINTS, BADGES, CREDIBILITY AND TIERS

Platrr may provide points, badges, credibility scores, tiers and similar platform rewards. Unless expressly stated otherwise, these:

Platrr may reasonably adjust, expire or revoke rewards obtained through error, fraud, manipulation or violation of these Terms.

22. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

Platrr may rely on services including Razorpay, Apple (for in-app purchases made through the App Store), MSG91, Google Places, Apple Push Notification service, Google Firebase Cloud Messaging and Amazon Web Services. Third-party services may be governed by their own terms and policies.

23. PRIVACY

Your use of Platrr is subject to our Privacy Policy, which describes how personal data is collected, used, stored, shared and deleted.

24. PLATRR INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

Except for Your Content and third-party material, rights in Platrr’s software, code, interface, graphics, branding, logos, trademarks, databases, algorithms and original content are owned by or licensed to YBKM TECH VENTURES LLP. You receive a limited, revocable, non-exclusive and non-transferable licence to use Platrr for its intended purpose.

25. COPYRIGHT AND OTHER RIGHTS COMPLAINTS

If you believe content on Platrr infringes copyright, trademark, privacy or another legal right, contact sales@platrr.in. Please provide sufficient details to identify the content and the nature of your claim.

26. SUSPENSION AND TERMINATION

Platrr may limit, suspend or terminate access where reasonably necessary because of material violation of these Terms, fraud, manipulation, security risk, unlawful activity, infringement, payment abuse or legal requirements. Where reasonably appropriate, Platrr may provide notice or an opportunity to appeal. Users may stop using Platrr and delete their accounts at any time.

27. EFFECT OF TERMINATION

Termination does not affect obligations or rights that arose before termination. Provisions concerning outstanding payments, intellectual property, retained content, disclaimers, liability, indemnity and dispute resolution may survive termination.

28. SERVICE AVAILABILITY

Platrr cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability. The Services may temporarily become unavailable because of maintenance, updates, infrastructure issues, payment-provider outages, telecom failures, security incidents or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

29. DISCLAIMERS

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Platrr is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. Platrr does not guarantee the accuracy of every café listing, menu, review, recommendation, user statement, hosted event or third-party service. Nothing in these Terms excludes a statutory warranty or consumer right that cannot legally be excluded.

30. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, YBKM TECH VENTURES LLP and its directors, partners, officers, employees and agents will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive losses arising from use of the Services.

Subject to liabilities that cannot lawfully be restricted, Platrr’s aggregate liability arising from the Services will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount actually paid to Platrr during the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) ₹10,000.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot legally be excluded, including applicable liability for fraud, personal injury resulting from actionable negligence or mandatory consumer rights.

31. INDEMNITY

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify YBKM TECH VENTURES LLP against reasonable claims and losses arising directly from your unlawful conduct, infringing content, hosting activity or material breach of these Terms.

32. FORCE MAJEURE

Platrr will not be responsible for delay or failure resulting from circumstances beyond its reasonable control, subject to mandatory legal rights.

33. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

Platrr may update these Terms to reflect product, commercial, security or legal changes. The updated Terms will display a revised “Last Updated” date. Material changes will be communicated where appropriate, and renewed consent will be obtained when required by applicable law.

34. GOVERNING LAW

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without prejudice to mandatory consumer rights.

35. INFORMAL DISPUTE RESOLUTION

Before formal proceedings, users and Platrr should attempt to resolve disputes in good faith. Contact: sales@platrr.in.

36. ARBITRATION

Subject to consumer rights or other rights that cannot legally be waived, unresolved disputes may be referred to arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, as amended. The arbitration will be conducted by a sole arbitrator appointed by mutual agreement. If the parties cannot agree within 30 days, appointment may be sought in accordance with applicable law.

The arbitration clause does not prevent users from approaching a consumer commission or another statutory forum where that right cannot legally be waived.

37. COURT JURISDICTION

Subject to arbitration and mandatory consumer jurisdiction requirements, courts having jurisdiction at Ahmedabad, Gujarat will have jurisdiction in relation to these Terms.

38. GRIEVANCE REDRESSAL

Complaints concerning Platrr, accounts, transactions, content or the Services may be submitted to:

Where applicable intermediary rules apply to Platrr, grievances will be acknowledged within 24 hours and ordinarily resolved within 7 days, subject to shorter statutory requirements for specific categories of complaint.

39. CONSUMER RIGHTS

Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude, restrict or waive rights that cannot legally be waived under applicable Indian consumer law. If a provision conflicts with a mandatory statutory consumer right, the statutory requirement will prevail to the extent of that conflict.

40. SEVERABILITY

If any part of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect.

41. NO WAIVER

Failure or delay by Platrr in enforcing a provision does not waive its right to enforce that provision later.

42. ASSIGNMENT

You may not transfer your Platrr account or assign these Terms without our consent. Platrr may transfer these Terms as part of a legitimate merger, acquisition, restructuring or transfer of business, subject to applicable law.

43. ENTIRE AGREEMENT

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, transaction-specific cancellation terms, applicable host terms, Platrr Plus purchase terms and policies expressly incorporated into these Terms constitute the agreement governing your use of the relevant Platrr Services. Where transaction-specific terms conflict with these general Terms, the more specific transaction terms apply to that transaction unless prohibited by law.
